PURPLE PASSION

This sensory playroom was created for Foster Village Charlotte, a wonderful organization dedicated to supporting children and families experiencing foster care. The space serves as a sensory-rich, trauma-informed play haven designed to help children process trauma and reconnect with others. As Foster Village describes it, "Play is the work of childhood," and this playroom fosters cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. The sensory features of the room—designed with care and intention—help children feel safe, supported, and engaged. It’s not just a fun space but also a therapeutic one, offering both children and their caregivers a much-needed haven for connection and healing.
