A local playroom design studio for playrooms that actually get played in
Wild Child Playroom Design is a Westport-based studio, and most of our full-service work happens within a short drive of home. That means in-person design meetings, we come to you to measure, and Wild Child’s team on site during your playroom installation. We design with child development in mind, so every zone has a purpose: somewhere to climb, somewhere to crash, somewhere to create and somewhere to wind down. In Connecticut we work with families in Westport, Weston, Wilton, Fairfield, Rowayton, Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich and Ridgefield. Across the state line in Westchester, we design playrooms in Rye, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Bronxville, Chappaqua, Pound Ridge and Bedford.

Westport, CT Third Floor Playroom
Cloud Nine
This Westport family of five had a large finished attic that they wanted to transform into a play destination. With a new baby, a toddler and a preschooler, they needed the space to work across various ages and into the future. We built a custom playhouse fort, our signature active play zone, a reading nook, train & car zone, a stage and a maker space!
Fairfield, CT First Floor Playroom
Play Zone Perfect
We created this playroom for a family of four in Fairfield. They wanted to transform a cluttered playroom with lots of toys and not enough storage into an active playroom for their kids. We included a gross motor play area, a lego station, built-in storage and a glam station.
Westport, CT Basement Playroom
Basement Bonanza
We created this basement playroom for a family with a preschooler and a baby in Westport. They love art and music so we made sure to incorporate a maker space as well as a stage. A Wild Child playroom isn’t complete without an active play zone so we made sure to include one here!
